Disposable diapers are the most convenient and popular choice to keep babies dry and safe from germs and bacteria and I personal feel that it is batter to spend money to buy dippers than paying for the infection treatments and today we are going to talk about how I personally feel that diapers are better than cloth nappies, but I do have another perception too, we know that the dippers are not as environment friendly as the cloth is.
Disposable nappies are not the best for babies and they are not environment friendly cause they contain hazardous chemicals which can harm the skin of your kid too and the too much usage of disposables diapers increases landfill pollution since they are thrown away after a single use, whereas you can use cloth as many time as you like, you just need to wash it properly and they would be ready to reuse once again.
We know that normal we use dippers to preserve the health of their babies, but they are not all aware of the toxic chemicals present in disposables diapers that they are putting in direct contact with their babies’ sensitive skin which has been shown to cause cancer, birth defects, skin diseases, and genetic damage too.
With other miner skin and body issues disposable dippers carries hazardous chemicals such as: Tributyl-tin (TBT), a toxic pollutant known to cause hormonal problems, and Sodium Polyacrylate, used to make diapers super absorbent. Sodium Polyacrylate is the same substance that has been removed from tampons because of its link to toxic shock syndrome, but companies still use it in baby dippers.
Next thing which make it the worst choice for use is the impact of Diaper on the society, according to a research, estimates that 27.4 billion disposable diapers are used each year in the U.S and that is not only increasing the damage of earth, but the reproduction and the increase of the production is damaging the natural source and air too.
Normally companies use unhealthy things, but only to make diapers they use 4.5 trees and 55 lbs of petroleum plastic, or 147 lbs. of crude petroleum which takes approximately 80,000 pounds of plastic and over 200,000 trees a year to manufacture disposable diapers, since disposable diapers are the third largest single consumer item in the world and it is getting big everyday and if we keep using it the way we are, it will promote to second number really soon.
Cloth Diapers are more cost effective than disposable diapers and we know that when you buy a pack of cloth diapers you may pay $6 to $18 for each pack and you can use these again and again, which means you pay for these once and then use it and that make it even cost friendly, then only thing you need to keep in mind to keep the cloth safe for your baby, you need to wash it with hot water and then use a mild antibacterial agent.
