In many cases, when the circulation of blood and oxygen to the legs is not good the person experiences these cramps. They are especially known to occur in older people and pregnant women. Another reason why leg cramps occur is the fact that the person is not drinking enough water.

When we do not drink enough water our body cannot transport all of the vitamins that we need to various parts of our anatomy. This means that we can get cramps and all it would take to get rid of them is to drink more water.

RLS, or Restless Leg Syndrome, occurs to certain people at night when they are attempting to sleep. They have pains in their feet and legs which can only be helped by moving them. There are a variety of mineral and vitamin deficiencies which could lead to this problem. By taking these vitamins you may prevent the problem from occurring.
