The Los Angeles bureau chief for Forbes Dorothy Pomerantz said, “We are seeing a convergence of these talented women who know how to work the system. The things they have in common, obviously they write great hits, are strong personalities. That really helps them from a publicity point of view. They connect with their fans.”
The singer/songwriter’s gigs also bring in average of $1 million per night and her endorsement work for products such as CoverGirl makeup have also helped her to stand with cemented feet at the top of the list.
The second topper is Justin Bieber, who earned about $55 million, meaning the 18-year-old pop star is the highest paid male star that ranked in a very little age in the list and the only one in the top five.
Rihanna take home at third position and thanked to her 85-night tour and her 2011 hit album “Talk That Talk”—which spawned singles such as “We Found Love” and “Birthday Cake”—as well as Lady Gaga, who earned $52 million after Rihanna by her performance at the events.
