Persian Basmati Rice Recipe

Basmati rice is called as the finest form of rice. In the Eastern and South Asian Countries Rice are pronounced as the favorite’s dish of the people and in some of the region rice is a necessary part of their daily meal. People like to serve it with many of the other dishes which are called as “Salan”.

There are thousands of recopies in the market to cook rice in different region but today I would like to tell you about a Muslim Country who is very famous for its literature and poetry in the Asian Countries than is Persia.

Here I am going to tell you how to cook the rice in Persian cooking style. That is quite easy to cook that everyone can make it by keeping some of the important thing the mind.

Ingredients:

  • 2 quarts water
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups long-grain rice (not converted; preferably basmati or jasmine)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

How to prepare?

To wash rice before cooking is the most prior thing in this recipe not even in that particular recipe but also before making any kind of rice you should wash it and drain it. After washing the rice let them socked in the water for 30 minutes.

In the mean while you should put the large size pan on the stove and turn the heat on then pour water and some salt according to your taste. Add rice and boil 10 minutes. In a colander drain rice and rinse under warm water. Then add 2- to 3-quart nonstick saucepan melt butter.

Pour all the butter on the rice and tightly covered the pan with heavy led and a ketches towel to make a vacuum. Turn the heat of the stove on the moderate mode till tender and a crust forms on bottom, 30 to 35 minutes. Than open the lid of the pan and serve the rice which has been made by yourself.
