We are going to talk about some simple things that you need to know if you have small kids or toddler at your home.
Drowning is the second big reason of child death in the world and no matter what you do, never let your kid swim alone, no matter what they might saying keep them in your eyes, even if you really have to answer the doorbell or the phone, wrap him in towel and take him with you and if you have small kids keep bathrooms close and try to arrange some locks that a baby cannot open on everyone including kitchen and bathroom and on your entrance for sure.
Summer is here and so does the summer vocation and no matter what you do children get all kind of bumps and bruises and you cannot ignore that it is a part of growing up and things happen, but you can at least prevent some serious accidents by making your home safe for children.
Put smoke detectors outside all sleeping areas and on every level of your home, they are not too expensive and they are not something big you can arrange a place to place them and test smoke detectors once a month and replace batteries at least once a year, even if they are still working and keep a fire extinguisher in your home, Electrical Shock is anything thing that can hurt your kid on high levels, keep every switch safely covered with the Electrical free tapes and if you are using a Household appliances then make sure you are not leaving it inattentively, if all of your family members are using the same bathroom then don’t leave your electrical appliances including hair dryer, curling iron, space heater, radio in their cause your kid might get curious about them and touch them and I bet you don’t want that to happen, you can place plastic caps on all unused electrical outlets and that will not only keep them safe, but it will be impossible for kids to put them in switches.
Now at the end I just hope and pray that your kid keeps safe and perfectly healthy, but in case, you just need to know what exactly you need to do if he gets burn, got electronic shocks or anything similar and for that you should get some kind of first aid training and keep your kid with you cause that will keep him doing stupid stiff.
Happy summer 🙂
