I am totally against of wearing contact lenses at all, but if you have to then don’t use it more than 19 hours, it can damage your sight permanent and they are not good for your eyes too and don’t wear glasses too long either cause the 3-D glasses can disturb your dimension lance and can disturb your eyes sight permanently.
Use allergen-reducing eye drops sparingly, you can ask your doc to prescribe you good quality eye drops and they are not only very good for your eyes, but they keep repairing the mild damages too, especially during allergy season, use artificial tears too, they keep your retina hydrated and you feel much more relaxes and comfortable during dry season.
Use the most perfect and the most suitable UV protective sunglasses you can afford, you need to pick polarized dark lenses as you need to protect your eyes form external damages, especially when you have to expose to UV rays more than few hours, cause they can harm your eyesight, protection in youth can help prevent loss of eyesight in later years.
