Amy Chen and Annie Qi are from Hong Kong meanwhile 21-year-old Svetlana Gulakova is from India. Earlier, Jean-Claude Van Damme (“JCVD”) was chosen to be one of the judges and the ambassador of the ATV Miss Asia Pageant 2012.
Earlier, there were lot of predictions about Annie Qi that she will win the crown but she was upset by 26-year-old student with a Masters Degree Amy. She remained successful to impress judges. A total of 18 participants took part in the competition.
All the participants showed the magic of their curves in the finale in swimming suits. Miss Asia 2012, which is an annual Hong Kong-based beauty pageant organized and broadcast by Asia Television Limited (ATV), was held on Monday in a lavish ceremony in south China’s Hong Kong, Jan. 21, 2013.
Taiwan’s Mindy Hsu won the title of Perfect Figure Award 2012 and the Perfect Skin Award 2012 was won by Bianca Wong Stamegna from Macau. Meanwhile, Miss Friendship Award was won by Thailand’s Titika Uchupaiboonvong.
The pageant mirrored Miss Hong Kong Pageant pre-hiatus, it now more closely resembles the Miss Chinese International Pageant, which is also organized by rival television station, TVB.
